Each month, nurses across the country share their new board appointments and elections with the Nurses on Boards Coalition. These leaders bring essential expertise, community insight, and system ‑level thinking to the organizations they serve.

Newly Appointed to Boards
- Susan Corbridge, PhD, APRN, FAANP, FCCP, FAAN, was appointed to the board of the Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois
- Angela Johnson, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, NE-BC, NI-BC, CRRN, was appointed as a board member of the Low Country Area Health Education Center
- Travis L. Elmore Nelson RN, BSN, RN-BC, was appointed to the Oregon Pain Management Commission
- Sue Iha, DrPH, APRN, NP, was appointed to Bastrop County Public Health Advisory Board
- Antay L. Waters, DNP, APRN, CNM, WHNP-BC, CNE, CRNFA, C-OBE, C-EFM, CNOR-SURG-OB, FNPWH, was appointed to Refuge International Board of Directors
Newly Elected to Boards
- Curtis Geissler, BSN, MBA was elected board chair for Housing Alternatives Development Corporation
- Becca Miles, BSN, RN, was elected 2026 President of the Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA) Public Health Nurses Section
- Julie Miller, BSN, RN, CEN, was elected to the Kansas State Nurses Association Board of Directors.
- Mandi D. Walker, DNP, RN, NPDA-BC, CCRN, NEA-BC, was elected 2026 President-elect of the Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders
