Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), it is a privilege to serve as a Board Director with the Nurses on Boards Coalition (NOBC) and to work alongside colleagues who share a steadfast commitment to ensuring nursing voices are present in leadership and decision-making spaces. Through my service on the NOBC Board, I have witnessed how collective wisdom and shared purpose strengthen our ability to champion board equity and amplify the impact of diverse leadership.
As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, I am reminded of the unique contributions of Hispanic nurses whose leadership, advocacy, resiliency and cultural insights enrich healthcare at every level. NAHN is proud to bring forward these perspectives, ensuring that the voices of our communities are heard, valued, and acted upon.
Together with NOBC, we honor the legacy of nurses who paved the way while creating pathways for the next generation of leaders. Communication across our boards is more than exchanging information, it is building a chorus of voices that reflects the diversity of our nation and the evolving needs of those we serve. NAHN remains committed to being present, elevating representation, and creating pathways for future nursing leaders.
In Service and Gratitude, ¡Unidos Podemos! (United We Can)
