  • Rhonda Hartman, DNP, MS, RN, NEA-BC, CMCN was appointed as Trustee to the Kentucky Nurses Foundation
  • Haley Hlela, MSN, RN, ACCNS-P, CPHQ, LSSGB, was appointed Nurse Ambassador to the Hospital & Healthcare Association of Pennsylvania
  • Sarita James, PHD, RN, CNE, was appointed to the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
  • Renee McCune, PhD, RN, was appointed to Thunder Bay Community Health Service.
  • Ruby Martinez, PhD, RN, was appointed to the board of Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO
  • Elizabeth Menschner, DNP, MAS, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, was appointed to the Nursing Advisory Board at Neumann University
  • Carol Smith, MSN, RN, was appointed as a member to the WACOG Executive Board
  • Carol Smith, MSN, RN was appointed to the Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization
  • Zach Swartz, MHI, RN, EBP-C CNOR, was appointed to the Ohio Board of Nursing Advisory Group for Nursing Education
  • Amy Marie Winiger, DNP, AGACNP-BC, FACC, CHSE, was re- appointed to the American College of Cardiology Cardiovascular Team Leadership Council for the 2026-2029 term
  • Katie Worsham, MSN, APRN-CNP, FNP-C, RN, appointed as Liaison to the Ohio Department of Medicaid Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee

Newly Elected to Boards

  • Rhonda Anderson, RN, BS, MPA, DNSc(h), FAAN,LFACHE, was elected to the House of Refuge
  • Margaret Calarco, PhD, RN, NEA-NC, was elected Chair of the Packard Health Center
  • Wilma J. Calvert, PhD, MPE, MS, RN, was elected to a two-year term as the Director-at-Large: Medium Institution of the Midwest Nursing Research Society
  • Robin Dove, MPH, BSN, RN, CGRN, was elected as Director-at-Large at the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA)
  • Devon George, MSN, RN, was elected as Member and Treasurer of the In International Study for the Study & Prevention of Perinatal & Infant Death (ISPID)
  • Shannon Hancock, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, was elected to the Florida Chapter American Case Management Association
  • Nicky Heise, MSN, RN, was elected Secretary for the Minnesota Organization for the Leaders in Nursing (MOLN)
  • Leslie Jeffries, MSN, BSN, RN, was elected Vice Chair of the Hart County Board of Education
  • Jennifer Kennedy-Stringham, MSN, RN, CMSRN, NE-BC, NPD-BC, was elected President-elect for the Academy of Medical Surgical Nursing
  • Kathryn Osteen, PhD, RN, CMSRN, CNE, was elected Chair of the Children’s Heart Foundation
  • Naila Russell, DNP, FNP-BC, was elected Legislative Committee Chair for the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners
  • Carol Smith, MSN, RN, was elected to the City of Yuma Council
  • Zelda Suzan, EdD, RN, CNE, was elected to the National Consortium of Academic Nurse Educators
  • Rebecca Taulbee, EdD, MSN, MBA-HCA, RN, PCCN-K was elected Chair of the Maplewood North Homeowners Association
